There is now a very entertaining python3 script at this gist, author 4lhc.
The idea is that there is an analogy between the historical events after the invention of the printing press and the recent events after the ARPANET.
Based on empirical observations, we propose the hypothesis:
where the Δ t-historic is the time in decades from the invention of the printing press and Δ t-today is the time in decades from the opening of the ARPANET.
